IPCP is a partner of the ISEH 2014: International Symposium on Environment and Health from 4–5 July 2014 in Beijing, China. The symposium will cover a wide range of environmental and health issues, e.g. air pollution, biogeochemistry, public health and risk assessment.
With its fast economic growth in the past three decades, China faces significant challenges in protecting its environment and the health of its people. To deal with these challenges, China needs to learn from the experiences of developed countries and take advantage of recent advances in environmental protection across the globe. To promote scientific information interchange between researchers, engineers, students and practitioners working in China and abroad, the College of Urban and Environmental Sciences of Peking University, along with SETAC Asia/Pacific, the IPCP, and a few other organizations, will hold the International Symposium on Environment and Health (ISEH 2014).
